The Ty Louis Campbell Foundation (TLC) continued its partnership with McKinney & Doyle and the Pawling Bread Company and hosted a virtual cocktail party on Thursday, December 3rd at 8:00pm in support of childhood cancer research. This event was generously sponsored by Ingersoll Automotive, a long-time supporter in our close-knit community.
Residents of Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Fairfield counties had the opportunity to purchase a gift box including four deconstructed cocktails featuring Diplomatico Exclusiva Rum, paired with fine chocolates. All participants were invited to gather online with McKinney and Doyle Mixologist, Andrew Sarubbi, and Pawling Bread Co. Founder, Cynthia Kinahan, to explore the unique pairings in a fun and interactive atmosphere. Our hosts encouraged questions and conversations among the crowd to allow for a fun “night out” with neighbors and friends, while staying safe at home.
The purchase of each gift box included a tax deductible donation to the Ty Louis Campbell (TLC) Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding childhood cancer research to improve the overall outcome and quality of life for those children who are battling the deadliest cancers.
All packages came with a fun “tasting mat,” cocktail recipes curated by Andrew, an assortment of fine chocolates, and other holiday-themed surprises which were delivered to participants’ doorsteps prior to the event.
This holiday mixer was hosted on Zoom, an online video conferencing platform that is very easy to access via phone, tablet or computer. Zoom is a wonderful way to safely allow our community to get together in support of children with cancer, and to celebrate one another during these difficult times.
