On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the Ty Louis Campbell (TLC) Foundation hosted its tenth annual fundraising gala at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, Connecticut. The Winter Wonderland themed event included dinner, cocktails, casino tables, dancing, a large silent auction and exciting live auction. The beautifully decorated cocktail hour hosted in the hotel foyer gave guests a glimpse of what was to come in the dazzling ballroom, which was transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland.
Once guests were settled in their seats, pediatric neurosurgeon, Samuel Cheshier, MD, PhD of Huntsman Cancer Research Institute, spoke to guests about the progress made in the anti-CD47 clinical trial. This trial is made possible by TLC’s generous donors and supporters.
Guests were invited to enjoy dinner while learning about the vital mission of the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation before hitting the dance floor and casino tables for some late night fun while placing bids on the auction. After an important video demonstrating the impact that the organization has had on childhood cancer research over the years, hundreds of donations and auction bids came flooding in, raising almost $100,000 for childhood cancer research.
