The annual Muddy Puddles Mess Fest held on Saturday, August 2, was a huge success with kids and families enjoying a host of fun activities including, swimming, paddle boating, traversing the rope courses, climbing walls, ziplining, treasure hunting, pie tossing, navigating the Slopstacle course, splatter painting, crafting, sliding down the jumbo slip n’ slide, bouncing in bounce houses, and more! A highlight for younger guests was getting the chance to meet the one and only Peppa Pig! For the fans of the truly messy, the huge mud pit was busy with participants getting muddy from head to toe! The food tent was buzzing all day with hungry guests being served up lunch, and the excitement was in the air when the raffle winners were announced.
Mess Fest is held not only to raise money for childhood cancer research, but also to create a care-free day for families (VIP families) who have had a child directly affected by cancer. It’s a day to get messy and delight in the joys of being a kid. About 150 VIP families were among the hundreds of attendees this year.
The date has already been set for next year’s Mess Fest! Please save Saturday, August 6, 2026 to get messy with us!
