The Mad Hatter’s Ball, held on Saturday, March 5, was indeed a wonderland to behold and is the highest fundraising TLC gala to date. Spectacular Alice in Wonderland themed decorations transformed the entire venue into a rabbit hole of adventure. Guests enjoyed dining, dancing, casino games and some friendly competition during the lively auctions.
In addition to the evening’s festivities, special awards were presented to Mellissa Divitto for her tireless efforts on behalf of the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation, and the Gay family, who assembles a spectacular light display each year with donations supporting local non profit organizations, including TLC. The TLC “Heart of Gold” awards were intended to recognize the amazing recipients for their exemplary efforts in supporting our foundation.
The annual gala is one of TLC’s largest fundraisers each year, with proceeds going directly to funding new research for treatments for children with the deadliest cancers. We are truly humbled by the generosity of the guests, auction participants, donors and sponsors.
